It's refreshing to see such a large community/site encourage the use of such great software!

For YOU it's a waste of bandwidth, and it is for myself as well (Difference is, I see it as a positive thing). So why don't we clear EVERYTHING on the Internet that YOU know about, so we don't waste YOUR bandwidth
I'm sure you have more important things to concern yourself with then a little button on the side of the website. -- Never expect anything and never underestimate the unexpected. |

 | reply to Thinkdiff Opera can do many of the same things as FireFox, and is arguably better. I think we should replace or supplement it with an Opera icon. -- "What you got they can't steal it, no they can't even feel it!" - Bono|Kerry/Edwards 2004 |

I load the DSLR hundreds, maybe thousands of times a day sometimes.. given the image is cached 50% of the time.. multiply by a year, that's a lot of bandwidth.. Not very necessary. I also access this site on my cell phone which goes .25K/sec.. The text loads fine, but loading another 30K image every page would add a lot onto it.
And it's not even about the bandwidth, it's the fact that I ahve no ads selected, and it's still there. I should be able to turn it off. |
