Huh?

The results indicate that some thirty-six percent of respondents have a connection slower than 256kbps (2% are still on dial-up).

Looking at the numbers I see just under 7% with less than 256 and just under 30% with between 256 and 768 such as 480 or 640.

Not me...

I'm on a 6Mbps ADSL line. So, that's not representative of me.

But, realize that people on the "256 and down" won't really be happy with these connections when they spend days downloading new Steam content.

I'm not disputing the need for speed just the slug that 36% are on 256.

They need to hurry and release it (HL2) with all this preloading crap. Its been like only forever when they claimed it was coming out.

And it's supposed to be nice out here tomorrow with a little bit of a marine layer in the morning.

Gee only six months, last time I heard "only six months" it was 2 years ago, but I do appreciate the insight on the article. Thanks :-D
