Re: Marketing Hype for a small minority

yeah that really bothers me. I use firefox, but iexplore.exe "has" to be running all the time? If I kill it, my desktop taskbar etc goes blank, and then comes back automatically or if i manually re-run iexplore.exe (i forget which). I don't see why iexplore.exe must run all the time.

all said that it was too much work to install themes, extensions and plug-ins.

Exactly! That and the bugs and performance, why it has a long long long way to go to ever remotely becoming a mainstream browser! several years from now maybe.
Impossible it will be any sooner.

Justin, what Operating System are you running? I'm on Win2K right now and IExplore.exe doesn't show up at all in my Task Manager (even while running Maxthon). Do you have something "web" related in your taskbar?

sorry brain fade - explorer.exe shows up, and explorer.exe despite the name, does not share code with IE6/iexplore.exe (i hope)
