Why i don't like those speed records because for me it has no practical use. This is for 2 computers running own the same stream sharing the same data. The reality have millions of computers sharing different types of data routing differently and not at the same destination. For me there is no technology that would come out from those tests. For me its just fame, unless you think that giving more money to telcos will help them spending more on researching hardware to route data. I have to say that the super computer research "Intel and Macs" helps design new boards, new chips, and new software that helps in the global computing that we have today.
"Me" could be wrong but i won't think so. |
