..

Cable companies will fight to the very end to prevent the end of channel bundling. Losing the current methods would decrease the amount of profit the companies make by a major amount.

check with the federal gov as to why cableco's or satelite co's cant give you a'la carte. has zip to do with the companies and everything to do with the feds. A consumer revolt wont do anyting. there is an election coming up, why not blitz the incumbents with your concerns. maybe if their job is threatened, things might change. In this case, you have the power as a registered voter not a consumer. when talking with your local repesentative, get specifics, and explain how bullshit answers or passing the buck equals one less vote for him/her. they are the ones who make the rules not the cable/sat co's. if bundling pissis you off, then do your duty and make sure the person you vote for understands and will do what they can. after the election, it is up to you to make sure that person delivers on what they said they would do. If you dont vote then keep your comments to yourself as you have no right to bitch. If you cant take the time to get involved or inform your local rep of your concerns, then you are no better than those "greedy companies" you whine about.
