Download the MS Java virtual machine here: [Link removed: please read forum guidelines]
And then do a Windows Update to have it updated to the last/latest version. It's way better than Sun's on XP.

I would rather have the slow secure Sun Java than the fast and insecure Microsoft Virtual Java Machine. Microsoft's Java is one of the reasons spyware products like Coolwebsearch exist.
