| Java applets closing IE browser Whenever I try to use anything that uses Java,the page I am trying to view just closes.
(IE..Java based yahoo games,NFL Game day ect)
I have SP2 installed,and I never had this problem until I installed SP2.
My 'firewall' is disabled,still the same thing,I was able to manually download the latest java,still the same problem.
Any suggestions? |

| I should also add that Ive tried firefox,and opera and still java crashes. |

if you roll back sp2 does it still crash, or does it go back to being stable? This could be one of the instances where sp2 really f***s up. For me it installed fine on my laptop, but on my desktop I can't boot it up except for booting into safemode.

| Actually the problem was with Sun Java..I uninstalled it,and now it seems to work better..
Well,at least nfl game day would work for me..yahoo games opens but it wont load the applet now.. |
