Each time that i was testing the router(s) only one of my NICs is enable, i haven't face problems again. Sundely works...without touch anything on 192.168.254.254!!!<br><br>I dont know what to say!! No gateway or DNS server will be assigned.  This IP address range is owned by Microsoft and used for this purpose.<br><br>[attachment=1]<br><br>Older OSes (Win 95/Win 98) will display an error saying "This DHCP client was unable to obtain an IP network address from a DHCP server. Do you want to see future DHCP messages?" In my network i have a Cisco router, but this modem i buy it only for backup solution and because when OTE gives you ADSL and you don't buy one of his modem, after he refuse the support and all the times told you that all the problems are coming from the other modem you may use.<br><br>Any way... I tried and 10.0.0.1 but nothing...I have reset the modem ... but nothing. The factory IP of the modem is 192.168.254.254<br><br>Any other ideas?]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1095446"><b>nikosz</b></A> : I have a speedstream 5100 (with MAC 00-0b-23-2e-a0-a5). I can NOT access to Web Interface or locate the modem - no ping - nothing. The IP address is 10.10.10.1 or 192.168.2.1 (i tried and 192.168.254.1/254 by scanning the range). I configure my PC NIC with IP 10.10.10.2 sub:255.0.0.0 and with the other IP address. I connected directly to my PC ... bu still nothing (no firewall running on PC - so the packages are routed fine). My PC Sends packets but it doesn't receive. I tried with hardware reset but nothing<br><br>I tried the arp -s 10.10.10.1 00-0b-23-2e-a0-a5<br>and my pc configured as 10.10.10.2 but still nothing...<br>Any idea?? <br>I think this problem occurs when i was changing IP or when i was enable the DHCP. <br><br>(The modem has power, ADSL & ethernet LED's seems ok)]]></description>
