Re: 106.7KDL Part II I think what 106.7 KDL has done is sell out! I finally felt like I had a station to listen to that played music I actually liked as opposed to the same 10 songs over and over again. I guess the part I don't understand is why, considering the music they originally played had a rather large fan base in the Dallas area. All I have to say is, way to go for upseting a large part of the population just because you were so insecure in being original that you decided to take all of us on your trip to the bandwagon! |

Haven't been to this site in a while but it's great to read that most everyone HATES the new format at KDL. I knew all was in trouble last year when the rap/hip hop slowly started mixing in and when the "Puerto Rican rap" (kidding) song "Culo" started to be played over and over and over!!
As someone who moved back to the DFW area from NYC a few years ago, it was nice to stumble upon KDL when it actually could use the moniker of "Texas Party Station" and it played dance/club/trance music...now it's just an awful version of 106.1...which reminds me, I really need to get it off my preset radio channel b/c it pisses me off when I hit it by accident and it's that damn Culo song or some other gangster rap song..sigh..I did do their survey and also let them have it but like someone said in an earlier post..do you really think that they care?? |

Missouri City, TX | I think KDL is more like 104.5 then 106.1..at least KissFM has been playing some other Pop music where KDL just kept on playing Rap/Gantsta Rap/Hip-Hop/Snoop/Culo

| Grrrr.. I don't even live in dallas anymore in fact not even in texas and I hate it now that kdl 106.7 has SOLD OUT! I looked forward of looking up the songs that they are playing and downloading them for some kinda new music where im at. I live in cincinnati although we have a very strong underground scene. I like hearing something fresh. The new list sucks in dallas!!!!!!!!!!!! If i wanted to listen to those stupid songs that is listed on their site i'd turn on MTV! |
