DSLR page compression is off Since I work behind a proxy, I had this option enabled, and hadn't occurred to mention it until I had a quick IM with Starfish. I have this enabled for all my Proxo configs, and just in case you don't, you should do it immediately! This will severely increase your web page load times. So if you are using Internet Explorer, do the following...
Quoting Starfish:
Checking the option "use HTTP1.1 throught proxy connections" under IE -> tools -> advanced |

You have to restart IE in order for your settings to take effect!

You need to enable HTTP1.1 through proxy connections because Proxo is a "proxy".
Since you have it disabled, once you enable it, you will notice a very large increase in speeds. |

I've checked both options regarding HTTP1.1 and (after closing all my IE windows and restarting the browser again) page compression is on again @ DSLR...

These settings should turn page compression on (again), after restarting your browser completely again... |

I have those settings, and my compression is still "off". How exactly, do I "completely restart" the browser? Should I re-boot?

Zhen-XjellProlific BunnyPremium,VIP,ExMod 2001-04 join:2000-10-08 Bordentown, NJ | Really?? I just tested. I was able to switch from disabling HTTP 1.1 thru proxy and force a fresh reload. Page compression was off. I then went back and enabled it, forced a fresh reload, and page compression was on. All this without rebooting the OS or Internet Explorer.
Do you have "localhost" in your HTTP and port "8080"? And you're running Proxo? |

Maybe an issue with IE6?

Glad you got it working Matt. |

Nope, not working. I re-set everything back to pre-proxo settings to be sure compression would happen, and it does. Still no-go through Proxo.

Can this option possibly have any influence in the "compression on/off"-case???
(It can be found under "config" -> "http"-tab)
