I don't see how it is possible for aol to build a broadband infrastructure now... The only way would be reselling or if they just buy out an entire ISP (We better all hope that doesn't happen) -- :: My current desktop ::
Yup, at the end of the day, the only ISPs out there will be the companies with broadband infrastructure (read Bells and cable companies). AOL is up the creek without a DSLAM...

I hope earthlink won't be going! They are my internet of choice. All teh local services around here have a 4 hour time limit to dial-up connections. At least EL is 12 hours. I couldn't deal with a 4 hour limit!
they were a good provider until they went with Sprint and made their joint venture but they're mostly a reseller now and a content provider and their content sucks!
