Monroe, GA | I don't get the logic of downloading. The way I understand it is if the movie is small enough to D/L it looks like shizer and if it's full size(8-9 gigs) it takes to long to get. I can't stand to look at crappy video anymore than I can listen to bad sound. If it's not out on DVD I can wait a few weeks. I have a job and make enough money to where I can rent or buy the DVD when it comes out and make a back-up when needed.
Honestly if the MPAA came out and said trade willy-nilly and we don't care, I still wouldn't do it 'cause I'm willing to pay for quality and not having to wait for an 8 gig D/L.
At 3.99 to rent a DVD for 3-9 days that's cheap. I piss away a lot more money than that on other useless things.

Cheyenne, WY | I downloaded The first Spider man movie, a couple of years ago just to see if I could. after 3 days of on and off loading I had it. It lasted 5 minutes before I deleted it the quality was so bad that it was worthless. I have no intension of downloading any movie. I go and purchase them. Unlike music which of late has sucked a big one, there are good movies to be had. And unlike music
you get so much more then just the movie, narratives, histories, etc. I think a lot of you download movies just because you can, and you think you are screwing the MAN.

| Im sorry but if you dont like the fact that people DO download this stuff than turn your nose, dont talk about it, yeah some people are going to get sued but all that is going to do is cause Box Office sales to drop. what you have failed to realize is that Bittorrent makes up 35% of all internet traffic. you can not nor will ever stop piracy, sooner or later your gonna realize it and quit Bit**ing about it. if you ask me your all stupid for PAYING for what is free with the right resources. Not that i cant pay, just that i dont want to. where is the sence in paying for entertainment if you can get it free. im not sitting in a theater where some jackass little kid is going to ruin the movie, or get in my car drive 30 miles to the nearest rental place then stand in line and wait for the jackass behind the counter to screw up and when i get home realize i got the wrong thing, SORRY its not cost effective. as far as im concerned. as long as its free its worth the effort. | |

Cheyenne, WY | All I can say is I could care less what you do. I don't like going the theaters either for some of the same reasons you mention. My sound system is as good as a theater and I can play, study, and enjoy my DVD's. If you want to down load crappy Divx copies fine. I prefer the good stuff.
