1 edit | Current users - Beta testing some new features If you are a current Lightning Bolt DSL User, and would be interested in being a beta tester for new features, please PM me with your name, e-mail address, and account #.
Within the next month, we will be testing out our newsgroup servers, and as with all our services, we want to make sure we offer a top level of service before releasing it to all users.
Feel free to PM me with any questions or interest in helping us out.
Edit: Also, this beta test will be open to any ADSL SOHO, SDSL, IDSL, or fractional/Full T1 circuits, as this test will be based on your static IP(s).

| Brent, that's great news. If authentication is based on IP address then you should just post the NNTP server's URL. Are you planning on changing the authentication means to a login/password at some point? |

Auburn Hills, MI | Right now, this is NOT a open to all users, as we will stress test, and make sure all issues meet our standards, so that is why URL's will not be posted publicly.
as for authentication, we are testing all options, before releasing anything to our general users.

For those of you who have contact me about beta testing this, we will be starting in the next few days, and you will receive an e-mail with details. We will be running this test until Dec 24th. So if any other users would like to help us out, please let us know before Dec. 24th.
If all goes well with the test, we will provide a public launch in early 2005.
