Doubting my little town will see Fios anytime soon

Considering we don't even have cable TV here, I seriously doubt FIOS will be coming here anytime soon. I keep being told by the operators on the phone that Verizon plans on getting everyone in NYS FIOS, I have a hard time believing it.
