Type 1500 in the speed (advertised) and do the tweak test again.

Then use the largest RWIN in the recommended range.

A tip from my mistake--if you use DrTCP (an excellent FREE tool) be sure to download it to your desktop as directed and run it from there. Tab (not mouse) between choices, make the changes, tab to 'accept' and reboot.
I didn't follow those steps and my numbers didn't change after reboot. Once I followed the steps it worked fine!
Best wishes.

First you should answer as many of these questions as are applicable.
»Tweaking FAQ »What information should I post with my question?

Have you downloaded DrTCP yet? Here's a link and instructions.
»Tweaking FAQ »DRTCP: How do I use it and what are all these settings?

Use the instructions in the RWin calculator.
»Tweaking FAQ »RWIN Calculator
For latency use a large packet(MTU-28) ping time to a remote site, or sites, that are indicative of your web travels. e.g. From a DOS window,
ping -l 1472 -f dslreports.com

In DrTCP Window scaling, Time stamping, Selective Acks, Path MTU Discovery and Black Hole Detection should be set to default. Max. Duplicate ACKS, TTL and MaxMTU should be blank.

Thats the latest tweak test.

Your download speed : 939047 bps, or 939 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 114.6 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 272665 bps, or 272 kbps.

After I changed settings to what you recommended I couldnt connect to the internet. The only thing that saved me was that I wrote down my previous settings.

That's odd, these settings would give you the Windows defaults, and the only thing it would change from your original tweak test would be the TTL.
