| Trying to wean people off M$ programs Other people have said Avant (or insert favorite browser here) but for the masses that think the world begins ends and is controlled by M$ the marketing of Firefox is a massive step.
For anyone that downloads and looks at it will be more likely to compare open-source alternatives next time rather than just sticking with the M$ bundled package read: WMP, OE, as well as Office etc.
It may be a slow process but its difficult to break a stranglehold, especially when M$ are the ones doing the strangling, the bundled software makes users lazy, whcih was the idea. |

kudos:18 | If people hate Microsoft (M$) so bad, why not remove it all together? There are alternatives you know *cough* Linux *cough*. From what I hear, there are other apps that cover WMP, OE, Office, Internet Explorer, etc. that will work on these alternative OSes.
