Excuse my trolling...

God I love these posts, there is just so much hatred towards Microsoft still rampant. How many times have I heard this monopoly thing? Well, I guess people still can't get over *Microsucks* putting a gun to their head and making them use their *evil* browser .

By the way, out of the millions that use Windows, which percentage knows how to fire up their telnet and open a connection to ftp.mozilla.org, let alone all the other commands to manipulate directories and files. Come on people, be sensible and stop lying to yourselves. I think you have bigger issues to worry about than a browser; like the millions of PCs scanning the net constantly for fresh Windows XP installations. You can always do the following: Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Internet Explorer. There all your childhood fears should banish right after .

My best suggestion would be to stay away from Windows, that way you won't have to *uninstall* anything or worry about *unsecure* systems. There, I can only give you one cent, I gave the other one to a bum in need of some crack . Don't hate...procrastinate.

I hope not many - why would you want to telnet into an FTP server? Do you regularly download files via your own visual cortex, through a telnet client? Are you related to Data?

Although I still remember some of the data stream commands from my early IBM mainframe years (tn3270 terminal type), that isn't what I was referring to. You can telnet to ftp.mozilla.org in ASCII mode and send regular FTP commands to it. I mentioned Telnet because there aren't many FTP options when you install Windows XP. Now stop the bashing and move along
