It makes no sense to provide useful information to people that may find it helpful.

Well, here is why it makes sense. Most people ask a question in their post and leave out a lot of pertinent information. Pertinent information such as what cable company they have. I post my information up top so that there is no question.
I could put it in a Sig but I feel it is less likely to be seen.
