Anon | So far, so good with Capunet It took 3 weeks to install. But everything is running really well. Tech support is quick and helpful.
Order 1 meg ADSL and got around 980Kbps according to DSL Reports Speed test.
But now I want to install a second computer on the net and tech guy told me that I need a "cross-over" cable. What the heck is that? How do I even get one?

But the best way to share your DSL line among several computers using capunet/covad is to get a router/sharing device like the linksys (although some folks have reported problems with the linksys), or a Netgear RT311 plus a cheap ethernet hub. IVe also heard good things about the beadlenet (now Watchguard) internet sharing device: »www.beadlenet.com/
