| nonsense This is silly. I've had to deal with cheaters before and it isn't much fun. I know that it is their game.
That doesn't change the fact that the response is over the top. Just because a rule is broken doesn't mean that any response is therefore acceptable. Constantly referring to "the bad guys" and suggesting that cheating at a game amounts to cyber crime and criminal misuse of game code is stupid. You would think, from the tone, that he was hunting down a serial killer, not trying to deal with online game cheating. Just ban them for a while and stop with the melodramatics.
I'm hoping the overwrought tone is to pacify people complaining about cheaters and not an actual indication of the mentality of the people involved. |
