Why the hell are my tax dollars going to some damn game and game servers while we can't seem to afford simple armor for protection???
Actually they can "afford" armor, DoD just never ordered it. As far as why the Army is spending money on this, it is another tool for recruiting. The money comes from the recruiting budget and it is a fenced funding track, meaning recruiting is all it can be spent on. I don't know how much the development of such video game would cost but I would imagine it is cheaper the an ad during the Super Bowl. -- Real Men use Vacuum tubes, 25 pound filament transformers, and plate voltages no less then 2400 volts...BPL I'm coming to get you
