| make multiple tiers!!! I would love to see multiple tiers of cable service For example give us: 784kbps/128up for $19.99 1.5mbps/256kbps for $29.99 3.0mbps/384kbps for $39.99 5.0-10mbps/784kbps-1.5mbps for $49-$59
We should also have an option to pay less for bare connection (no e-mails etc) I care less if I am being offer 5-10 free e-mail addresses since they are not really free! Just bare connection is what some people want! |

AdriatikGame Addicts join:2002-05-27 Carmel, NY | Right now I have 1500/800 because I live in SENY and that is all RCN serviced to us. Now the company that bought RCN in my area is increasing my download to 5MB but they are decreasing my upload to 256 and I don't know if I can take that. I use my upload more than the download.

audiog join:2004-08-09 Detroit, MI | reply to mlody I have 1.5mbps/384kbps from SBC now for 29.99.
What is driving the up down thing is network headroom and network bottle necks. As for email accounts and storage capacity for have to think about servers and storing and backing up all of that stuff. SBC has the best DSL footprint. We all want more speed of 29.99 but that is coming with Fiber upgrades. Fiber is not free and copper is not either.
For now you can buy T lines or some other kind of business grade service( just the connection, you will have to provide your own server and such) that will give you more speed than you get from the Cable guys. In the telco world you have a straw -DSL and Cable, a garden hose- T lines and so on. |

Re: GAY? said by B77730 is a loser:Why are you saying gay and saying its "more like horrible". It sounds like your a horrible person!!!!! A*sH*l*!!! Because he corrected himself for saying gay in the OP and said horrible instead later. I agree, using gay as an insult is bad. At least he realized that it was wrong when someone pointed it out, which is more than a lot of people can do. -- Powered by Optimum Online Please do not feed the trolls.
