| ENT: Daedalus A very intersting epsode on many plot threads. Not what I suspect.
|spoiler: Like the M5 Dastrem vs Star Flet but also different enough on loosing his son and wanting to save him. A bit of horror not madness. Etc. Archer was a bit strange in really grilling Tucker and T'Pol
Also T'Pol slowly realizing thing are not what she though and belved. She was almost Spock like at times. | Another good epsode! |

Really good work on this episode.
I hope that 8pm Fridays does not help to kill the series as it is getting to come into it's own after a somewhat confused start.

Just got finished watching and it was another good episode. Sorta predictable but still a good story. Reminded me a lot of "The Ultimate Computer" and "The Tholian Web" TOS episodes and the suspense that was built into them.

I didnt like the black dude. Thought he was a boring character in the episode. The overall plot to me was boring. I want bigger and badder things.

I must agree it was a rather boring episode.. the drama just seems to forced. I do like how they talked about Tupal & the other Vulcan's going Through a transition in philisophies... but the hole thing between Archer and Trip seemed to forced. You would think they would trust each other by the fourth season. |

Archer was emotionally involved with what was going on and he had only one thought on his mind. Trip was trying to get him to refocus on the safety of the ship and Archer shut him down. I think it was realistic, though the acting might not have been good enough to convey the moment.
We're too use to Archer being a happy guy when it comes to his crew and not afraid to go all-out against his enemies. It's rare when we see him butt heads with his crew and that's why this didn't seem quite right.
Guess Shatner just did a better acting job when it came to crew confrontation.

A boring episode, overall. It was interesting, but the plot was a wee too easy to figure out in the first 2 minutes of the show. I guess it's like that for most programs (although 24 still seems to zig and zag enough to keep things interesting) these days that follow established "formats." NCIS is good, for example, unless it copies another of CBS' CSI templates.
My 2 cents. Going to have some trouble fitting Enterprise in on Friday nights with SCI-FI blocking out the 8pm to 11pm time block with SG-1, SG: Atlantis, and BSG (which, by the way, wasn't too bad for the first 2 episodes).

I have a hard enough time remembering Enterprise is even playing on Friday nights. I think I've had to BT half the episodes this season. I just don't put Fridays and Star Trek together. Obviously, I wasn't around for TOS.
I'm not into the SG shows. I'll watch reruns of SG if there's nothing else on cause it is a very good show. I just don't find myself following it for some reason. BSG has some potential...hopefully they don't botch it up.
