I faithfully use Norton Antivirus. Used to be a Grisoft AntiVirus (Free Version) fan. I have also used BitDefender too. The last virus I had was the keypress virus that I got from an Earl Weaver Baseball game's 5 1/4" floppy disk that was purchased, new, at Egghead Software.  I was able to fix it manually without too much trouble.  How about you?  Are continuously attacked by virii?  Do you consider yourself to be lucky that you had McAfee to save you form a malicious attack?<br><br>If the data you have is not considered as precious as the soul-corrupting One Ring, don't sweat it.  Get something that is cheap and familiar.  It will do the job, trust me.  If you are attempting to secure a network for a business, then you might wish to look elsewhere for your security protection than basically an entertainment forum.<br><br>My Op only. It is easy to configure and scans all POP e-mail as you download to your pc. You can set it for automatic system scans and automatic updates (as often as every three hours). I need some recommends for a new antivirus.<br><br>A year and a half ago I had found this one "antivirus" roundup that did scans with several antivirus programs, and among them, McAfee was one of the ones that seemed to be the most sensitive, being one of the ones to find the most real viruses on this test machine that I actually heard of.<br><br>Well, unfortunately I haven't seen anything like that since, and now I really need for something that can be very powerful for scanning viruses, without lagging my machine up too much.<br><br>Why do I want to switch from McAfee badly?<br><br><A HREF="http://www.aol.com">Because they're using it</A>.
