Re: DSL network speed erratic.......unreliable. This is a typical situation for me. I just hit the »AT&T Northeast link and I got this after waiting several seconds. This happens enough of the time to be very annoying.

If his modem is a 5100b and he had it set up to do the pppoe then you would have to put the modem in bridge mode, again that's only for the 5100b modem. |
