Re: DSL network speed erratic.......unreliable. This is a typical situation for me. I just hit the »AT&T Northeast link and I got this after waiting several seconds. This happens enough of the time to be very annoying.
Note: My Modem is about 4 years old. It obviously works....but......could that be the problem here?

1 edit | if your router is handling the pppoe then you shouldn't have to do anything at all.. If his modem is a 5100b and he had it set up to do the pppoe then you would have to put the modem in bridge mode, again that's only for the 5100b modem. |
