| Think about it.. how many phone/fiber/cable line are in the US, the random act of destroying one is easy for one to do, knowing chances of getting caught are slim.
Granted a person who does it is more likly to do in own area, so chances of getting cause are higher. But a person who wants to do some damage, just needs to travel to a area, and do his bidding at will, and leave. No one would know the wiser.
Remember accidents cut off thousands of users from net/telephone, think if someone with indent to distrupt could do.
I used to joke the only way I was going to get DSL was to plow car threw the Remote Terminal here to force the upgrade..but I moved and got cable.:P |
