| SBC Satellite avaliability in my place?? I have a question, im thinking of getting sbc satelite (180 basic pack) but i dont know if its avaliable where I live. Ive tried e-mailing them but they dont seem to reply. And since someone on this forum helped me with getting sbc internet, might as well ask about sbc satelite.

South San Francisco, CA | I just tried you Area Code 903 and came back with all the Programming Packages offered by SBC Satellite TV. I assume SBC Satellite TV is available to you if you are getting SBC Internet.
You might just want to call them:

Ok thanks for yall replies, 1 last question (or until I can think of something else),
on »www.sbc.com/dish_channels/english.htm at the bottom part that sais "to add programming call us....." does that mean I could add individual channels?
sorry for my newbie questions, but im new to satelite tv and I dont want to get me into anything i dont want... |

Only a few channels can be added independently... mainly it is package increases.

Satellite TV is pretty much available "everywhere", not taking into consideration line-of-sight issues. Since you have Southwest Bell phone service, SBC Satellite should certainly be available to you. Why don't you go to SBC's website and check ?? Do NOT bother e-mailing them. |
