In an effort to limit the propagation of the Code Red internet worm across the Verizon internet services network, Verizon has placed filters on the network to protect its end users from being infected with the Code Red Internet Worms. These filters will not impede users ability to browse the internet but will prevent infected machines from scanning Verizon internet services network.
