Seems like it has gotten solid reviews for gaming. Got a nice response time and contrast rate.
Was wondering if anyone here had one and had an opinion of it? |

Was $499 ($399 when and if I see my rebate check) It has 16 ms response time and I see no ghosting in Doom III, HL2 or Aces High II.
I'm sure you'll love the one you picked out, Viewsonic makes some decent stuff. The monitor I moved up from was a Viewsonic 19" CRT and it has been a great monitor. I just cant wait to get rid of my 4 year old 19"CRT thats like 60lbs and takes up all my deskspace. hehe. |

 | There's no point going the pro series if u arent using it for any professional work. Its wayyy too expsensive. the 17" pro series is around the same price as the 19" X series. -- You know you're BORED when YOU are reading this BOARD! |
|
 | Well some of use like the pivot feature that the pro series delivers, you dont have to be a professional to enjoy a professional LCD |
|
 | Yeah, but u have to pay the professional price for it too :P |

 | reply to Carbon Unit I like this one

 | reply to slim I purchased the VP912B backe in November 04 and I will tell you it is the best monitor I have ever owned. I was a faitful CRT user untill I bought this one. Mind you...Its a lot different then using a CRT which took me a while to get used to. Meaning...Setting it up for gaming was different none of the same set up prcedures as a CRT. After to learn how to set up your LCD for gaming...Look the hell out...Great Great Great!
With a 12 ms responce time this LCD monitor is terrific for gaming.
Its a bit pricy..bout $675.00 but you will be glad you got this puppy.
Great Job Viewsonic!
Hope this was helpful
