<title>[Vonage] Compatible VoIPs and Home Security (Alarm</title>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/752334"><b>leedle</b></A> : Ok, I have read numerous posts regarding the use of VoIP and Home Security Systems.<br><br>I've had Vonage for over a year now (behind router), and will be moving into a house soon that has a security system installed, but it is not being monitored.<br><br>I would love to continue living with out a POTS line and use Vonage with the security system.<br><br>If any of you here are using VoIP and a monitored alarm system, I would love to hear about it- Such as what companies currently support VoIP and don't shun us like ADT.<br><br>And before anyone jumps down my throat, I have also read the threads suggesting that it is inherently unsafe and stupid to use a Monitored Alarm System with VoIP......and that I should just use a POTS line to be safe.<br><br>Knowing this, I would still like to hear of other VoIP users and their experiences with Monitored Home Security (Alarm) Systems.<br><br>Thanks again.<br><br>PS- And yes, I have bookmarked: &raquo;<A HREF="http://michigantelephone.mi.org/distribute.html" >michigantelephone.mi.org/distribute.html</A>]]></description>
