Another question... Ok, I see it recommended I use the FREE McAfee firewall instead of the Windows SP2 firewall. BUt I also have the Hardware Firewall on the Versalink 327 W Router Verizon sent me, so do I still need a more powerful firewall such as McAfee on my computer? Or do only people with Routers without the firewall feature need the better software firewall ??

If you get infected by a Trojan, I don’t think the Versalink will block it. However, a software firewall (with the exception of XPs) will block the outbound attempt and tell you that you have a problem. That is the main reason why I run a software firewall on all my PCs. -- Jim Anderson
