DhcpNodeType is derived and set by the OS, it is not a user setting (common misconception). You can change it to 99 -- the O/S will change it to whatever it thinks it should be

NodeType is an override.

You could delete it and re-enter it. I'm not even sure if the registry is case sensitive.

When the node (individual computer) broadcasts, it basically says "I am _________, you can connect to me here, I have ________, and I know about ___________." The computers that hear the broadcast know that any requests for _________ can be sent there -- for the next x seconds (600 by default).
