| Oh please, you're such a mouth piece. If you want to pay 20 bucks for a CD with 1 good song, when artists only get a fraction of a dollar per album sold, be my guest. As it stands now, I download songs, and I buy the album if it's good, i.e, Green Day's American Idiot.
Honestly, I don't know why the ACLU hasn't picked this up, but it strikes me as a lame attempt to make money. Less than 1000 songs, that's 3 bucks a pop. Not quite fair, especially when you know several songs came off of the same album. Also, what happens when the person owns the album already?
It's only a matter of time before the RIAA's proverbial paper bag quits holding water. Not to mention smart p2p users will always be one step ahead. |
