gojeda join:2002-12-15 Pompano Beach, FL | So I get this letter.... ...from Speakeasy, telling me about their service...yadda yadda.
I go to the website, and Im prequaled for their 6 mb\768 service dedicated Onelink service - which is their DSL dry loop service. Nice - as this would let me dump Bellsouth's landline.
But did Bellsouth upgrade their COs to handle the 768 upstream? Or did Covad magically start offering service in my area?
Anyway - the dry loop 1.5/256 service, with two static IPs, nationalwide dialup is $65, and they allow servers. Their 6/768 service is a bit too steep at $115 a month (for me anyway).
So, any opinions from anyone here about speakeasy? Stupid caps? Anything like that...
Tanks... |

I suppose no one knows of a tool on the web to find out how far I am from the Covad's CO? |
