| [MCI] Activation fee waived and speed questions? Hi, I currently have a Comcast cable modem but have been considering switching to MCI's DSL for the price ($19.99 sounds awfully good...) I spoke with MCI today and found this out:
1) They say the upload speed is up to 768 Kbps on their site, but they say 256 Kbps on the phone... anyone have experience to say which it really is?
2) They say, after much asking, that the $99.99 fee can be credited to my account if I cancel w/in 30 days. Has anyone else been promised this? I have the employee ID of the one making the promise...
Let me know what I'm really in for, here...

I cannot comment on the install refund.

i didnt' know about the 100 refund on you bill, my case was you will get $150 credits if you are not satisfied and comply with returning all the equipments(in good condition) . |
