Re: [Vonage] update: anyone else down? "Who ever looks at the front page anyway?"
I do!! Every single day. As well as many others. Honestly if more users did look at the front page. We would have less dupe post in most forums.
With that said. I find it funny someone thought Vonage might kill your router. "Have a good afternoon and may Vonage not kill your router" Considering you have Broadvox Direct as your provider.
It seems many VOIP companies are having customer service issues. I'd agree that many customers don't fully understand the technology they are buying. I can understand how hard it would be to figure even the basics out. Their is a lot of information to be absorbed.
With all that said. If a firmware update has killed customers devices. Vonage should do their best to immediately resolve the problem. Without any charges or inconvenience to the customer. -- Test Your Security Cable DiagnosticsIggyz Blog ZoneAlarm Help |

 | Well, when your faced with thousands of people as potentially being affected, finding them is like sifting thru a haystack. You are thinking that a company who doesn't send paper bills because they "cost money" is going to devote money to finding your individual problem out of thousands, you're crazy. This company not only would have to pay for the replacements, the free month, but also the team paid to look for the issues. Get real. |

 | I did a speed read on this interesting thread but missed the answer to this question =====> Does this firmware upgrade fix the LINKSYS "hiss" issue???? I would have preferred to keep my LINKSYS router/adapter, but the hiss was driving me nuts so I had Vonage send me a Motorola adapter. So if it's fixed, I want to get the LINKSYS back as the audio quality is a tad better than the Motorola. |
