The age limit of 13 years suggests that they want to protect themselves against problems with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. My idea was only to make it impossible to bring that off without being more open about their true intentions.

iSearch is malware, beyond any reasonable doubt. Mike
Healan in particular cites the WMP adware being distributed
via P2P networks as an example because it installs the
iSearch toolbar by extremely deceptive means:
