Anti-muni legislation

I like it. Means that if I decide to quit my job, lease some space on nearby water towers, and set up a wireless ISP, the local towns won't put me out of business with their own subsidized service.

Instead, I'll go out of business all on my own...

OOPS! So sorry, but Verizon would preemptively put you out of business there too, since you could be classified as a "communtity-provided" ISP that would have to get telco permission under the new law.

And we're afraid of living in a totalitarian state...?
