Re: Weatherug begs for forgiveness said by xhepera:Never have been able to figure out why anybody would want one of these type programs running all the time anyway? To each his or her own. As another poster stated, if you live in "Tornado Alley" or other places where storms can go from "0 to supercell in 15 minutes," and spend a great deal of time in a windowless and/or soundproofed environment, Weatherbug and its real time reporting can prove to be VERY useful. I, too,was alerted to an imminent tornado just last year. I didn't hear the sirens until I poked my head outside. Not too many tornadoes down here, just hurricanes. And if you can't see one comming OR need weather bug to tell you there is one approaching you need help... and need to move away from here --

You should have known you'd get a fire storm making a comment like that around here. The appropriate response has given to the comment. |

 | reply to exocet_cm I use WeatherRock for forcasts. It sits outside my window, If its warm to the touch, its Sunny, If its Wet its raining, if its white, its snowing, and if is missing...We've either got a Tornado or a rock- collector in the neighborhood.
Sorry...Couldnt resist.. |
