But My 94 Explorer Sport model I kept till 117k and I never had a single major repair. Maybe that was the exception, or maybe they (Ford/GM) just make much better trucks than cars. Only our Passat (Crap city), Accord (Great), and the Explorer (Great), have I ever kept over 100k, other cars I have traded in I guess before they hit the wall. Planning on keeping the Expedition so we will see, and my wife REALLY wants an Escape, so despite the OP issues, that may be the next vehicle we get. The dealer here though has always been real responsive to any minor issues, so hopefully I would not have the problems the OP has had. |
