Stop whining.....

People used to have to spend months and possibly their lives to get from point A to point B. Today, we buy a ticket for an amazingly low price and jump on a plane and we're at our location in hours, not months.

I hate it when people complain about things like airport security being beefed up or the fact that a flight is "boring." I find it amazing I could go from the Americas to Europe in 6 hours where it used to take months.

um, dude....it hasn't taken months to get from america to europe in over a century. even before airplanes a steamer could make it in a couple of weeks.

I know.... I'm referring to the time centuries ago. But still, I am NOT anti-progress, I just hate how people today need to surf the net because they are "bored" sitting on a plane for a few hours. Maybe I'm the only one who actually thinks it is cool being able to hop between continents in hours not MONTHS or WEEKS (on a steamer).
