I got this in the mail today. I have been getting 500k down 132 up which sucks. I switched today to comcast broadband and phone service. Got broadband for $30 a month for 6 months. Over the course of the next year I will pay the same as I was with verizon for phone and broadband.
I'm tired of having to pay more without an increase in service. If speeds go up next year I may revisit the DSL option but right now it makes no sense to be with verizon.
Just be lucky you can get broadband, HELL, My town is surrounded on all sides by COs every surroudning town has a CO, Wheres MY DSL, Hasn't come yet, I've actually gone onto the Verizon website where it soemtiems says i can get dsl. This is rediculous, VERIZON shoudl burn in hell,So should comcast COMCAST run soem frigging wires through my town!
