| Dropped Verizon I actually dropped verizon because of this, recently I would get random disconnects and verizon told me more than a month ago that they aware of the problem and "Verizon Engineers" are fixing the problem, month later still problems. Then I get a letter that says they are raising the price. My neighbor a few houses down has cable so I try it, he gets 3mbs down, and I only got 1.3mbs in my house. So I call my cable company (Adelphia) and they offer it for 26.95 for 1 year without contract, which is better then Verizon's 29.95 for a 1 year contract. |

| I had Time Warner HSI in Palm Springs and LOVED it. I often saw speeds higher than what was advetised. When I moved to San Bernardino I had to switch to Charter. My God do they suck. This is the worst connection/service I have ever seen. 3000/384 and rarely do i see speeds over 100kbps. When you call all they ever say is "we are aware of the problem and have techs woring on it right now." Gee it's been 4 months and my speeds are getting slower and slower not faster.
I just signed up for Verizon DSL through Linkline and will cancel Charter the day my DSL comes online.
Yes the speed is slower 1.5/384 but will still have better speeds than with Charter. |

Which package is Adelphia offering in Seal Beach for $26.95? The last time I checked, the only package they had was $42.95 (assuming you had cable TV).
