Of more interest than the few buck a month savings (IMO) are the early termination fees... $49 or $99 depending on the how long you've had Verizon's equipment (modem/router). This takes a lot of power away from irate users calling in to the Retention Team. They used to offer free months of service to just about anyone who hinted at leaving Verizon... now they'll be happy to just remind you of this fee. |
