 | Re: WG121 causes Win XP to freeze - My Solution Hi, I have also some PB of freeze with my Atheros card (NG WG311v1 --> Minipci) when the card seems to scan the WLAN using the driver 3.0.0.111 from Atheros/WildPackets. Erratic mouxse behavior... The solution I just found is to change the ScanType from 2 to 1 in the registry in the following key : HKLM\SYSTEM\CCS\CONTROL\CLASS\{4D36xx}\0005\ DriverDesc = Atheros Wireless Network Adapter Do you know what Scantype mean ? Active Vs Passive Scan ? 1 for ? / 2 for ? / other ? Can this give me other pb ? Thanks |
