What is not mentioned, and would be the much more interesting story is what was behind the hijacking?
Was this a spammer out to harvest email addresses? Was this an identity theft scheme? Who is this anonymous person behind the Yahoo address? What is the link between the hijacking and the various places the web and mail pointers were directed? Who owned the accounts in Canada, the UK, and Australia?
This leaves me with more questions than answers! Anyone have any info on the above???

I have had a panix account since their very early days, always found them good, competent, and fair. Alexis runs a good shop! Whoever did this opened themselves up to trouble, and it was fairly expensive. There's more to it than revenge.
