Doubtful

Also, this is doubtful.

Time Warner demonstrated a new set top box for me that can go into other rooms of your house and play any DVR'd content from your main DVR box.

Hi

I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder with 80gb hard drive, ever since getting that, and satellite television thru SBC/Dish Network, do have the DVR box from dish network upstairs, and I like the ability to fast forward, pause if I want, record down here to DVD-R or the hard drive for safe keeping, whatever I want to do with it, after I record a show..so I don't know personally if I'd like a cable or satellie company having shows on a centralized server or not. I think I use my Panasonic daily for something or the other. as for my VHS, sure I may record on that sometimes, but not as much as I used to. but if stuff ever goes to centralized server, I may revert back to using VHS tapes.
