Re: Class action Lawsuits said by packetscan:Why don't we get a bunch of users together and start a class action suit.. How many people have paid professionals to remove this stuff ? Why can't most of the spyware/adware be removed completely? That will surely gets things rolling. Because in their infinite wisdom, Congress, at the behest of the administration, gutted your rights by gutting the class action suit mechanism.

The fed courts have a more difficult standard of what is actionable, so not as many suits can be brought. This good and bad. Good because some of the kinds of idiotic suits brought in the past won't be brought anymore, bad because there is less recourse for low-level crap foisted on the public on a massive scale.
