Re: COAST anti-spyware consortium... I agree with that. I'm sure there are logging operations with stellar records in that regard. I still suggest saying they're "Pro-environment" is a bit of a stretch. How pro-environment would they be without regulation?
Perhaps a better example would be the Tobacco Industry's use of front-groups (Heartland Istitute) who claim they're pro-smoker's rights.
They're for the same people they've been drugging with genetically modified nicotine in an effort to keep them addicted? Sure.
The tactic is used when one's own position - if plainly presented - can't stand on it's own two feet. |
