terraserver.microsoft.com has better coverage, integrates USGS maps and uses the same USGS "Urban Areas" Color Ortho Image files (where available) Google does, but lets you zoom in, print, save and generally
use the image. See above--both are the same image but Google won't zoom in further. Terraserver also has the Black and White USGS data to use inside and outside of the newer Urban Areas photos and tells you the date the photos were taken, and it's free. Google is trying to keep you from saving the image, and has a copyright watermark all over it.
